What is the difference between ceremonial laws and moral laws?
Moral had to do with right or wrong, ceremonial had to do with the right and wrong ways to be holy, clean, or unclean.
What is Leviticus 17-27 sometimes called? Many of the laws in this section are based on what?
The Holiness Code: Being holy people, observing the holy days and seasons, keeping the covenant and vows.

Balaam was a pagan prophet. The Moabite King was afraid of the Israelites after Israel defeated Sihon and Og and arrived in Moab. The New Testament remembers him as an perverse prophet.

He had Joshua to succeed him and told them to completely drive out the Caananites from the land.

Very important because it pictures God’s love towards his people.
