Q

What does poetry tap into in us as humans? How does poetry put to music affect us?

A

In fact, it’s safe to say that for most human beings, they cherish their feelings more than their thoughts. And the grand part of this is that God also feels! He is an emotional being, and He has given us many of the emotions He possesses – joy, grief, love, and contentment, for example. Feelings are an important part of the “grand story” of the Bible.
