What special features do camels have that enable them to survive in the desert?
They have humps that store fat. They can survive for a long time with no water, & when they finally find it, they can drink 20 or more gallons at one time. Their eyes have long lashes that keep out dust; and their nostrils are mere slits that can close up during a dust storm.
Why might you find a set of antlers with no deer attached?
deer lose their antlers every year

They have amazingly-designed systems that alter their blood pressure when they raise and lower their head.
How did God protect the Israelites by telling them not to eat pig meat?
Pig meat can contain many disease-causing parasites if not cooked & handled properly.
How are peccaries different from pigs?
Peccaries have long, thin legs, and tend to be smaller & thinner than pigs. Their tusks grow straight down, while a pig’s tusks curl away from the face. Peccaries live in herds that include the males & have a powerful musk gland on the top of the rump. Pigs are indigenous to the Old World, while peccaries are indigenous to the New World.
