It comes from spinnerets there are most often found At the very back of the abdomen.
What are some of the different kinds of webs spiders build?
They build orb webs, funnel webs, tangle webs, and sheet webs.
What are some ways spiders capture their prey
Some capture prey in Webs and others make traps others hunt and others ambush.
What are harvestmen
Also called a daddy longlegs it is an eight legged arachnid with only one body part. it has two eyes, does not produce silk & can eat solid food.
How do Harvestmen defend themselves?
They can detach legs to escape predators & can spray foul-smelling fumes.
Why are harvestmen good for your garden?
They eat aphids, flies, mites, decaying plant & animal remains, animal waste, & some kinds of fungi.
What animals eat scorpions?
Efl Owls, grasshopper mice, pallid bats, desert shrews, some snakes, lizards, centipedes, tarantulas, & meerkats.
What are the acarina?
They are mites & ticks that are mostly parasites.
Name some specific kinds of acarina.
scabies mite, harvest mites (chiggers), mange mites, dust mites, hard ticks, & soft ticks.
Why are ticks dangerous?
They transmit lots of diseases.
