A social group of lions. It can have up to 40 or 50 members.
pride
A member of subfamily Pantherinae. It is the only animal that can single-handedly attack & bring down a grown Asian elephant.
Tiger
These tan cats have tabby-like streaks of black throughout their spotted coats & look a lot like a house cat.
Bobcats
Unlike other cats, these animals form strong, supportive, and caring social groups that stick together and nurture one another.
Lions
The killing of infants & other very young animals. The new top male in the pride will do this to all cubs sired by the former top male.
Infanticide
Animals that are not considered typical prey for other animals.
Apex predators
This wild cat has a short tail, black tufts at the tips of the ears and a double pointed “beard.”
Canada Lynx
The “roaring” cats, like lions, tigers, jaguars and leopards are placed in this subfamily.

The hyena that is native to northern Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Bengal Tiger
Lions that live in India. They are fewer in number than African lions & are smaller in size with shorter manes.
Asiatic Lions
this hyena has shaggy fur & pointed ears.
