- crop growth is limited- acidic soils= lack of nutrients
However, arable farming is possible in some locations by application of lime and artificial fertilisers

tropical regions- brazil, angola, guinea
Are ferralsol soils low or high ph?
low ph (acidic)
What colour are ferralsol soils?
red/yellow
How do ferralsol soils affect human agricultural activites?
well drained -> nutrients can be leached-> harder to grow things
BUT…
can help avoid flooding
does not get eroded as easily as other types of soil
