Endoderm: Digestive and respiratory system, liver, pancreas

Mesoderm: (Internal) excretory, reproductory, circulatory systems, skeleton, muscles, inner layer of skin

What is the Fetal stage of development

A

the 9th week till the end of gestation (end of development in womb)
- the fetus grows its primary structures
- makes refinements of organ systems
- in the 13-12th week there is neuronal proliferation (neurons developing)
- baby recognizes sounds (sound waves)
- 32nd-33rd week = fetus can distinguish between novel and familiar stimuli
