what is the extrinsic back muscles?
what is our intrinsic back muscles?
what are the superficial extrinsic back muscles also know as?
posterior axio-appendicular muscles (extrinsic shoulder) muscles
in order to view deep posterior part we have to reflect trapezius
what actions?
descending fibers can elevate the scapula
the middle fibers can cause retraction of the scapula
the ascending fibres can depress the scapula
- all the fibres in unison cause upward rotation
only exception comes from the nerve from a brain
what are the actions of the latissiumus dorsi
all insert on the medial border of the scapula
SoS- spine of scapula
reflected trapezius, latissumus dorsi, rhomboid major minor, and levator scapula out the way
make sure you dont confuse
- they are similar place than rhomboid major and minor
- these are saw like structures.
main role is proprioception
it is still in the air if it has to do with respiration
