Q

what is the pathway of anterior interosseus nerve?

A

It arises from median nerve between the two heads of pronator teres then it goes anterior to the interosseus membrane between flexor palmaris longus and flexor digitorum profundus

  • it termentates at pronantor quadralis

Q

tell me more about the ulnar nerve and the ulnar artery

A
  • funny bone hit
  • pinching the ulnar nerve
ulnar nerve is posterior to the median nerve
  • deep to flexor carpi ulnaris
  • associated with the ulnar bone

both the ulnar artery and nerve run superficially to the flexor retinaculum
- so they don’t cause pinching

  • only median nerve runs through the flexor retinaculum
