Defective
Having flaws or imperfections. EX: defective items should be replaced.
Deface
To spoil or mar the appearance of. EX: defacing some items is illegal.
Defer
To put off or postpone. EX: if your payment is deferred is it due today.
Deformity
A condition of being improperly formed. EX: Can you find the deformity?
Degrade
To lower in quality character or dignity. EX: the boarded up windows degrade the area.
Dehydrated
To remove or lose water or moisture from; dry. EX: Heat can cause people or objects to dehydrate.
Denounce
To speak against publicly: to accuse. EX: As protest is a way to denounce an issue.
Deplete
To use up; decrease the amount of. EX: Depleting resources is dangerous.
Deprive
To take away; to keep from having. EX: Don’t deprive yourself of what you need.
Deterrent
Something that prevents or discourages someone from something. EX: Each item above is a deterrent.
