Real Evidence
Real Evidence is a tangible piece of evidence that has a direct or circumstantial connection to the issue being litigated.
Demonstrative Evidence
Demonstrative evidence is evidence that is produced at trial for explanatory purposes.
Scientific Evidence
Experiments conducted outside of court may be introduced into evidence if the conditions are substantially similar, the test is sufficiently established in the field, and the test is relevant.
Documentary Evidence
Documentary evidence is any written matter introduced at trial.
Best Evidence Rule
In order to prove the contents of a writing, the original must be produced unless it is shown to be unavailable through no fault of the proponent.
