  • On top of the quality of the experience is the intensity of the experience

  • Her “heart smiles”. In her description of the Swat valley she therefore evokes a sense of place.
  • This place is not necessarily where Malala is “located” it is where she feels at home and has the best and most intense attachment to her place.
