Using まえ to mean “ago”
When used with time spans, まえ means “ago” の is not needed to connect まえ with the time span.
[time span]+まえ(に)
[time span] ago
Use に when talking about stuff in the past.
page counter
The word page comes after the number. When referring to a specific page the particle に must be used.
The difference between これから and いまから
いまから can be used in expressions like 「いまから三ねんまえに」 (three years ago from now) which refers to events in the past. This is the only difference.
