A person deliberates and makes decisions in a court a law
Judge
A person assigned by the jury to manage and direct the jury’s discussions and deliberations
Jury foreman
A trial brought to court, in which the jury decides whether the defendant is guilty or not guilty as charged
Jury trial
A crime involving the unlawful taking of the personal property of another person
Larceny
Something that is allowed or permitted by law
Legal
Doubt that is based on reason and common sense after a careful impartial consideration of all of the evidence in the case, sure that something happened
Reasonable doubt
A feeling, belief, or opinion based on facts or circumstances that cannot be proven without further evidence
Suspicion
A formal protest raised in court during trial to disallow evidence/testimony in violation of procedural law
Objection
A requirement that more than 50% of the evidence points to something in the civil trial

Polling
The party who initiated the lawsuit or accuses the defense
Plaintiff
The act of asking questions to witnesses during the trial
Questioning
To answer questions as a witness in a court of law
Testify
The decision made by a jury at the end if a trial

A person who testifies in court during a trial
