What does this panel indicate (general) and when all lights are out?

A
  • indicates position of individual LE Flaps & Slats
  • Extinguished: related LEDs retracted
  • indicates position of 2 LE flaps and 4 LE slats
  • LE Flaps - 2 positions retract & extend
  • LE Slats - 3 positions - retract, extend, fully extended

What is the name & function of the LED amber lights.

A
  • LED ‘TRANSIT’ light
  • Illuminated: related LED in transit or not in position.
  • 12 lights total (also illuminates “LE FLAPS TRANSIT” light on front panel
  • approx 30 sensors - ran via the FSEU which sends signals to SYMD (stall wrng), FDAU (flt data rec) and PSEU (takeoff warning)

Green ‘Extended’ Light indication.

A
  • EXT - related LE slat in EXTENDED (intermediate) position
  • Flap Lever = position 1 to 5 (LE FLAPS - FULL EXT) & (SLATS - EXT) positions

LED ‘FULL EXTENDED’ Light Illumination

A
  • Green - related LE device ‘FULLY’ extended
  • TE Flaps > 5 - (LE FLAPS - FULL EXT) & (SLATS - FULL EXT)
  • SLATS will indicate ‘FULL EXT’ during AUTO-SLAT extension.
