• ARM: transmits automatically when it reaches preset G limit, or turns OFF an operating ELT
• ON: manually activates the ELT

ELT can be manually reset by switching from ARM to OFF to ARM

What is the alternate power source to the ELT?

The ELT has a battery pack with 5 ‘D’ cell batteries

Should last for about 72 hours.
