What is Belbins Team Role Theory (1981)

A
  • Roles are based on certain patterns of behaviour that people exhibit within teams
  • When individuals become aware of their own strengths and abilities, it helps them to deal better with the demands of the team environment
  • Most individuals are capable of playing more than one role.
