what is a team role
A tendency to behave, contribute and interrelate with others in a particular way. (Belbin, 1981)
What is Belbins Team Role Theory (1981)
- Roles are based on certain patterns of behaviour that people exhibit within teams
- When individuals become aware of their own strengths and abilities, it helps them to deal better with the demands of the team environment
- Most individuals are capable of playing more than one role.
