1) initial conditioning (est. starting point)
2) toughening (foundational fitness and fundamentals)
3) sustaining (maintain high readiness)

1) precision
2) progression
3) integration
precision
the strict adherence to optimal execution standards for PRT activities
Progression
the systemic increase in the intensity, duration, volume and difficulty of PRT activities
Integration
uses multiple training activities to achieve balance and appropriate recovery between activities in the PRT program
Principles of Army Training***
o commanders and other leaders are responsible for training
o NCOs train individuals, crews, and small teams
o train as you will fight
o train to standard
o train to sustain
o conduct Mutiechelon and Concurrent Training
o train to develop agile leaders and organizations
Multi-echelon training
the simultaneous training of more than echelon (formation of troops) on different tasks
leadership traits
competence physical qualifications appearance knowledge of human behavior enthusiasm cooperation motivation
Leadership responsibilities***
- provide facilities for PRT
- special programs
- train PRT leaders and AIs
Initial Military Training (IMT) consists of the following elements
Basic Combat Training Advanced Individual Training One station unit training Warrant Officer Candidate school BOLC
unit reconditioning program
designed to restore physical fitness lvls of soldiers on medical profile to enable re-enter to PRT
new soldiers need to train in the unit for ___ days before PRT leaders or AIs assess their fitness levels

The Army Force Generation. 3 phases:
1) Reset (training to support mission task list)
2) Train/Ready (assoc. with deployment)
3) Available (train for immediate deployment)
