what is GFLR

A

overarching/coherent framework for the development of food and feed legislation at EU and MS level
- ensures food safety from farm to fork
- high level of protection (consumers and health)
- effective functional of internal market

precautionary principle

A

prove that food is safe (preventative action)
- done by FBO
- preventative measure should be proportionate, not more then needed
- because of the high protection objective GFLR
