bacterial infection that causes otitis media, pneumonia, meningitis, bacteremia

3 different conjugate vaccines. 15 valent, 20 valent, and polysaccride 23 valent
PCV15 or PCV20 reccomendations
univeral immunization for infants 2,4,6, 12-15.Immunocompromised get simgle dose if no vaccine history
Who should get pneumococcal vaccine?
immunocompromised, adults, children
WHat is HPV?
human papoillomavirus. sexually transmitted with reall high rates. most time asymptomatic, can become cancerous

increasing but still very low
What is mennigitis?
Bacterial disease transmitted through respritory secretions. 5 major serogrous A, B< C, W, W-135
What type of vaccine is mennigitus?
Conjugate vaccine covers A, C, Y, W-135.
Who should get the meningococcal vaccine?
those with HIV, asplenia, people who live is residence halls, occupational risks, endemic areas
