spoken OR written statement of malicious intent to injure ones reputation
Libel
malicious or untrue WRITTEN things about another and brought to someone else’s attention
Malpractice
failure to meet legal duty causing harm
Negligence
doing or not doing what a reasonable or prudent person would do in a situation
Slander
Malicious or untrue SPOKEN words about another person
Tort
civil law that involves wrongs against another person or property. Includes: Negligence, Assault, Battery, Defamation
