What are the Basic Needs in Maslow’s Hierarchy?
(1) Physiological (food, water, warmth, rest)
(2) Safety Needs (security and safety)
What are the Psychological Needs in Maslow’s Hierarchy?
(3) Belongingness and love: intimate relationships, friends
(4) Esteem: prestige and feeling accomplished
What are the Self-Fulfillment Needs in Maslow’s Hierarchy?
(5) Self Actualization: achieving one’s full potential including creative activities
Prioritization Levels
First Level: ABCs +V
(Airway, Breathing, Cardiac Status, and Circulation + Vital Signs)
Second Level: Mental Status Change, Untreated medical issues, acute pain, acute elimination
Third Level: More long term issues (rest, coping)
