A

Meant to keep carcinogens out of food. Assumed that carcinogens were rarely found in foods. Consumers who worry about eating Che,iCals shown to cause cancer in rodents and should understand that the human diet is full of naturally occurring rodent carcinogens. Not worth worrying over tiny levels that are only found in large amounts when fed to rodents. Populations lowered risk of cancer even though there food presumably contained synthetic pesticide residues.
