Q

What do you need to make sure you have in fly by wire systems for saftey?

A

redundancy , also good to have artificial feel systems so pilot can feel what doing each thing would do

Q

What is an aircraft stability augmentation systems

A

a thing that uses PID, sensors , actuators in order to keep the aircraft stable, especially during disturbances. Doesnt think about pilot

9
Q

What are the problems with original SAS’s

A

less responsive to pilot input
lots of redundancies

Q

What are the problems with a flying wing

A

unstable in yaw (therefore need a FBW)
