What are the different aspects needed to be looked at when considering REACH?

A
  • Need to look at the representativeness (characteristics that are similar to participants who are eligible, but choose not to participate).
  • % of people you believe you can recruit, how many of that % you recruit = your program’s success.
  • Need to know the target population you’re looking for and find ways to become credible with them.
  • Understand your markets needs and preferences.
  • Cost effective recruitment plan (ads, presentations, taster sessions).
  • Look at barriers within your population.
  • Consider funding opportunities (grants, partnerships, private PA coalitions).
