*Genetic reasons − Innate deficiencies and inheritable defects
*Infections
*Sedentary life style − Junk food, consumption of alcohols/drugs, lack of exercise
What arer the signs of good physical health ?
• Energetic and alert.
• Have weight which is normal for your age and height
.
• Have all the body organs functioning normally and fall sick less often.
• Have good appetite get sound sleep
• Healthy individuals are active, responsive and happy and can work hard and
perform well
What are the signs of good mental health ?
• Control over your emotions
• Balanced feelings, desires
• The ability to accept the realities of life and face them
• Confidence
• The ability to cope with the normal stresses of life
• Sensitivity towards needs of others
What are the signs of good social health ?
• Positive attitude towards life
• Get along well with others
• Have a pleasant personality
• Fulfill responsibility/duties towards others
• Have healthy interpersonal relationships
• Able to express disagreement positively
