Organizational Behaviour Definition
Field of study related to ATTITUDES and BEHAVIOURS of individuals and groups in organizations
Task Performance Definition
Consist of a set of obligations (creative or adaptive) that an employee must fulfil (employees capabilities are vital to drive the organization’s performance)

To measure success, organizations typically require a benchmark or indicators :
Performance Management Model 1: Management by Objectives (MBO)
1- Defining organizational goals
2-determining employees’ or subordinates’ objectives
3-constant monitoring
4-performance evaluation
5-providing feedback
6-performance appraisal
2: 360-Degree Feedback
An instrument to get performance ratings from different sources (subordinates, coworkers, customers, suppliers)
Organizational Citizenship Behaviour [characteristics & Pitfalls]
Characteristics:
-employees going being normal expectations
-Discretionary
-Not directly recognized as formal reward
Potential Pitfalls:
-perceived unfairness
-unstandardized (subjective)
Factors promoting OCB
-Society (social welfare participation…)
-Organization (protecting & saving company resources)
-Group (interpersonal harmony…)
-Personal (taking initiative…)
Counterproductive Work Behaviour
EG: theft, backstabbing, excessive socializing…
