Useful definition of a “personality”
Personality refers to the characteristic patterns of:
- thoughts
- feelings
- behaviours
which make a person unique.
Personality arises from within the individual and remains fairly consistent across situations and time.
What is Personality Psychology?
It’s the scientific study of the unique individual.
How can we measure personality traits?
- The Myers-Briggs Test
- The Big Five Inventory
