Both are necessary for complete understanding. Bottom up learning is reflected in chunking. Top down learning is reflected in understanding the bigger picture
What is the illusion of competente?
Just re-reading the material and anwsers. The problem is that the ‘aha’ moment is though of understanding the concept. However, to completely understanding a subject, a student should recall and personally practice and make mistakes with the subject. This way, pathways for the chunks are formed in the brain. As a result, the working memory can easily use the concept based on the chunks
What happens after a peak in dopamine?
Base line level drops. Tonic and phasic release. The peaks influence base level. Dopamine rush, interconnected, after spike degree of basic level lower than before

Energy, mindset, drive, movement
What are Chunks?
Chunks are pieces of information bound together with use and meaning. Single to access item and get bigger/more complex. Best build with Focused attention, understanding and practice.
What happens in case of procrastination?
1) feel unhappy about a task, 2) you funnel attention on a more pleasant task 3) we feel happy
What is necessary for concepts to move from short term working memory to long term memory?
The idea should be memorable and should be repeated
What is the memory palace technique
The memory palace technique is about changing your memories into images placed in a familiar mental location. The idea is that you can mentally walk through your Palace looking at your memories to recall them.
