Great listing while developing my MA’s by running the front.
What are your first actions you would take in your new position?
Get to know my team, buying in my employees, buying lunch every Friday, make sure we all have placements, role play, shadow and follow up.
What are ur three biggest strengths that u will bring to an office?
I would definitely bring employee development, Sales, and Service. Our ESQI is at 94 compared to 91. Making sure we’re acknowledging every cx in the front and in the back end.
Tell me a time when u successfully mentored someone who was not one of ur employee? What made this mentorship successful? How have u enlightened others on using the same strategies?
I mentored Wendy from a different area and I made sure to study with her after work for her MQI test. This mentorship was successful by giving her flashcards to write down the questions and answers I would role play with her. I enlightened the situation by listening to her, fact finding in what was her weakness in the first interview she failed the first time. Wendy managed to successfully passed her test.
Tell me about ur action plan to train, develop, and promote ur employees. How do u handle unexpected situations that interfere with this plan? How do u follow up?
In action plan to train my employees, develop and promote them would be to always role play, shadow and follow up.
For example, keep them accountable for there sales. Writing it down on the board every morning, role playing every morning and throughout the day. The way I would handle my unexpected situation is to have placements and take care of the big rocks.
Please explain how u established accountability with ur employees? What would u do if ur employees perform poorly?
I make sure every employee takes accountability of there performance by role playing, shadowing and following up.
For example, setting goals in the runner log, morning huttles and competitions. If my employees is performing poorly, I make sure I role play, shadow employee, set expectations to follow up
Pls give me an example that demonstrates how u motivate ur employees. How do u recognize & reward excellent performance? Describe how u turned around underperforming employee?
I make sure to motivate my employees by always talking about my sales in every transaction on down times, I begin to shadow my employee Jovanny for ex in how I pitch my sales and we perform role plays on down times. Lastly I make sure I recognize/acknowledge good performance by following up
Who has been ur most underperforming sales person? How did u help to develop them?
Jovanny and Kyle weren’t performing and they asked me how I did it? I begin to role play, shadow and follow up. Doing so I was captain for morning role plays to train and develop my employees
What was the most difficult goal u set and achieved in ur current role? Why was it so difficult?
My difficult goal was running the front while I great listed. I would developed my employee rima great list and It was hard because I managed to get my own sales while I would run the front helping my team succeed. As result I learned to balance and cope under pressure
How do u hold other accountable for there deadlines and goals
The way I keep my team accountable for there duties is writing it down on the front runner log and remind the team there lunches or anything that needs to be done. Keep following up with my team if expectations are met
Describe the process of identifying a goal and accomplishing it. How do u identify it? How do u develop an action plan? How do u follow up? How do u engage others?
I identified we needed to get gold standard by getting each IDUB as a team I would role play, shadow and give honest feedback in our morning huttles. We managed to get gold standards each time. I develop an action plan by setting expectations each morning and executing them. I encourage my team by motivating them and competing with my team.
Tell me about a time when u we’re severely understaffed and how u handled it? How did ur employees react?
When we’re understaffed we make sure everyone is in their placements. Having a morning check list and morning huttle. My employees reacted well in not being all over the place. We managed to be organized and we got gold standard
How would u educate yourself on those areas of the business with which u are not familiar?
Ask branch manager to be able to reach out to ur peers. Network is important to educate yourself
