Q

What does distractor effects over SOA show?

A

Word first then picture = semantic interference large (early SOA).
Picture first then word = semantic interference large ( late SOA).

Q

What does picture picture interference experiments show?

A

If two pictures are phonological related are presented, phonological facilitation is observed, although the non-target pictures do mot need to be processed.
Suggest continuous spread of activation from conceptual level trough lexicon, down to the lexeme level
