How does Alternate Gear Extension work?
A
the doors and unlocks are released electrically, allowing airflow and gravity to extend the gear

When does body steering gear activate and deactivate?
A
- below 20 knots and greater than 20 degrees nose wheel steering on taxi
- deactivates above 20 knots
- after landing and decelerating, activates at less than 15 knots and greater than 20 degrees nose wheel steering
