The anti retraction latch of the landing gear control lever prevents selecting the landing gear UP when:
At least one gear shock absorber senses weight on wheels.
When is the red UNLK indication displayed on the landing gear indication panel?
When the landing gear is not seen as locked in the commanded position or (on ground) the uplock box is not opened.
When is the LDG GEAR NOT DN warning indicated?
Any landing gear not seen as down and locked; and
RA <500’; and
Flaps 30; or
At least one PL at FI.
When is NWS available on landing?
Nose landing gear locked down; and
Main gear and nose gear shock absorbers compressed.
When is antiskid armed?
Above 10kts
When will the antiskid locked wheel protection activate?
Speed >23kts
Speed differential of 50% or greater between inboard wheels or outboard wheels.
When is the antiskid touchdown protection active?
Braking inhibited at touchdown as long as wheel spin up is <35kts or 5 seconds.
In the event of a hydraulic system failure, how many applications of brakes are available with emergency brakes?
At least 6.
When does the WHEELS BRK HOT message activate?
Any brake temp >150C
