  • switch to supine w/ knee under theirs w/ same action to palp O on intertrochanteric line and then PU mm belly along side of leg to MED patella and tib tube

  • do intertrochanteric O first and then reach under adductor wad to palp MED lip of linea aspera line
  • PU tear drop portion of mm belly
  • paint on fibers starting on inside of thigh and going ANT and distally

  • ACT: bring their knee to opposite SH ( hip FLEX and ADD)
  • safe barrier
  • for insertion can find lesser trochanter w/ iliopsoas hip FLEX and move INF from there

  • ACT for long head: knee bent 90 and kick heel to ceiling
  • PU mm/tendon
  • palp down until just above knee and then find short head O
  • ACT for short head: bring heel to butt w/ knee 90
  • join up and palp rest of the way down to fib head

A

-side lying
-top leg forms safe barrier
-palp hamstring portion first: isch tube and move down picking up hamstring portion for a bit, switch to finger pads to adductor tubercle
- move back to isch tube and move more medially, palp down middle of thigh w/ fingers pointing down to indicate fiber direction, jump over hiatus and insert on adductor tubercle
- fiber direction for hamstring portion is straight down, adductor portion is fingers pointing down and jump hiatus (donkey)
-ACT: adduction and hip ext
