How did Kohlberg place children into these categories?
When 50% of their responses fell neatly into the category they were said to be in that ‘stage’
What were Kohlberg’s two conclusions?
1- Children, adolescents and young adults go through a process of moral development, from pre-conventional, to conventional to post.
2- Although there is variation in rate, the same stages apply in different cultural contexts
