Q

MCL Tx

A

pt supine with ph seated on tx side
leg hangs off table with knee flexed at ~60°
cephalad hand on tp @ knee, leg on ph thigh
caudad hand around foot applying MOSTLY internal oration with a slight varus (leg adduction) force

Q

Medial Hamstring Tx

A

pt supine with ph on tx side
knee flexed
cephalad hand monitoring
caudad hand on ankle
internally rotate the tibia with slight adduction (varus)
note: compression can be added to calcaneus to elicit plantar flexion of the foot

Q

Knee Extenders Txs

A

pt supine with ph on tx side
either towel under distal tibia or (3) leg on ph thigh
1. anterior to medial meniscus
- hyperextension and IR of thigh
2. patellar tendon just distal to patella
- hyperextension and IR of thigh
3. anteriomedial surface of tibia
- hyperextension and ER of thigh
May put oh knee on table to assist with hyperextension
