How can Km and Vmax be explained?
A
Using an experiment:
6 test tubes - different conc of substrate
Add enzyme to each and measure velocity of reaction.

What does Km show?
A
The affinity of an enzyme for its substrate. Smaller the value of Km the greater the affinity.

What is the Vmax?
A
The maximum velocity or rate at which the enzyme catalyzed a reaction.
