Behind the peritoneum on the posterior body wall

Why is the right kidney lower?
Because of the interaction with the large right lobe of the liver.

Superior of the kidneys
What viscera are the right kidney related to?
Liver, duodenum and ascending colon
What viscera are the left kidney related to?
stomach, spleen, jejunum and descending colon.
What are hormones secreted from the cortex of the adrenal gland?
Aldosterone, sex hormones and cortisol
What are the hormones secreted from the medulla of the adrenal glands?
Adrenaline and noradrenaline
