Advise the driver about the route, the situational factors, risks; and operate the radio if comms are required.
What is the overarching principle of the urgent duty driving policy?
No duty is so urgent that it requires the public or police to be placed at unjustified risk.
As the passenger of a 2 person patrol involved in a fleeing driver, what are your responsibilities?
Assist the driver by operating the radio and advise the driver of possible risks and other considerations. You may direct them to abandon the fleeing driver pursuit.
What type of police vehicle is a category A vehicle?
A fully marked police pack.

Category A or B that are heavily laden with 3 or more passengers or substantial load.
