Front door
Dominant hand moves up and down in front of face to signify ‘front’ and then sign ‘door’
Screen door
Make a checkered pattern on ND hand with dominant hand for ‘screen’ and then sign door
Hammock
With a letter ‘h’ hand shape, swing hand back and forth
Porch light
Move dominant hand up and down in front of face, then flick chin with middle finger, and move dominant hand up above to your dominant side and bring fingertips together and open hand for ‘light’
Doorknob
With clawed number ‘5’ hand shape motion as if you’re trying to open a door
Doorbell
With closed fist and thumb up, pretend to press something - a doorbell
Patio furniture
Finger spell patio and then with dominant hand in letter ‘f’ shape slightly shake hand
Flower bed
Sign flower and then bring hands together in a letter ‘C’ shape with pinkies touching and move away to signify ‘bed’
Compost bin
Sign food - fingertips together and bring hand to mouth and then turn hand away and open to sign throw away, or ‘compost’, and then with both hands straight out, sign a box for ‘bin’
Roof
Bring fingertips of both hands together to make a triangle shape that only has 2 sides

1 Tap their shoulder with your hand bent - not with just your pointer finger, 2 wave your hand, 3 flashing lights, 4 stomping on ground, 5 tap on a table with your hand
