the glory of the divine presence, conventionally represented as light
Temple
The place of Jewish worship
Judge
For Jews Judging is what God does to someone when they die.
Resurrection
Coming back to life. (E.g Jesus’ resurrection)
Heaven
A place where Jews believe they go after death
Sheol
A place Jews go when they die to cleanse their sins.
Messiah
Is the saviour for a group of people.
Messianic Age
is the future period of time on earth in which the messiah will reign and bring universal peace
Promise land
The place where Moses lead the Jews to.
Covenant
Is a visible commitment between God and the Jews. E.g Noah, Moses
Abraham (Covenant)
- Abraham would move from ur to canar so his descendants could live there and there would be as many of them as stars.
- Was that all Jews would be circumsized and he would be named father of the nation and have a son.
- Sacrifice his son Isacc to show his loyalty to God and the covenant
Moses (Covenant)
God appeared to him in a burning bush and told him to lead his people to the promise land.
Sinai Covenant
refers to a biblical covenant between God and the biblical Israelites. This is recorded in the first 5 books of the hebrew bible.

The removal of the foreskin off he penis
Ten Commandments
Given to Moses by God, rules that Jews should live by
