Describe the 3 types of Synarthroses: (give examples of each please!)

A

1)Syndesmosis (fibrous joints) Include Sutures of the skull and Interosseus membranes (like between the ulna and radius) 2) Synchondrosis (cartilaginous) Include growth plates (temporary) and fibrocartilage of intervertebral discs (permanent) 3) Synostosis (bony joints) two bones are joined together by bone Include terminated growth plates and the frontal skull bone
