Cartilage lacks a blood supply.
What is Osteoarthritis?
The gradual and progressive wearing away of the joint cartilage from friction.
What is Rheumatoid Arthritis?
As the joint cartilage wears out, it releases chemicals that initiate the creation of digestive enzymes that further damage.
What is synovitis and which joint dysfunction is it associated with?
- The inflammation of the inside lining of the joint capsule that produces the synovial fluid.

What is tendonitis?
The inflammation or damage of a tendon.
