Little spent outside of all inclusive hotels—> no local profit
E.g hiltons, profits go to other country’s/ leakage
Foreign staff, low paid jobs for locals high paid for foreigners.

Road traffic- extra taxis, minibuses
Coral damalige from jet skiing/boat anchors
Mangrove swamps cleared for hotel space, leading to beach erosion
Morass Westland drained for hotel space
High rise hotels lead to bad visual impact
Solutions to environmental issues in Jamaica?
Negril marine park, controls how many boats can enter
Controls speed of boats
Only low rise buildings to reduce visual impact
Water treatment plant to reduce damage to coral treat from waste
