What are the problems for tourism in the alps?
Village can get noisy and congested
Roads are Naples and easily jammed
Shops/ cafes etc are tourist orientated so locals have to pay more for every day items
Conflicts can arise, tourists leave litter in farms or leave gates open, farmers get angry
How is tourism managed in the alps?
Provides free clean public transport
Initiative called tomorrow’s valley made from the local community
-renovate and preserve historic buildings and monuments
-support traditional jobs e.g farming
-maintain the landscape and wildlife from the impact of e.g skiing by planting more trees and vegetation
