on the walls of buildings, mix wet plaster and put on the wall before it dried, a large scale drawing on a peice of velum put up on to the plaster, and take a stylus and poke holes of the outline and other details, and then adherer the pigment right to the wet plaster. as it dried it would solidify the pigment into the wall

The Last Judgement
- over a decade after he finished the sitine chapel, the pope asked him to paint the wall behind the alter - massive controversy: angels had no wings (very strange for italian renascence art), included figures from greek and roman mythology, everyone in the origional painting were naked, christ was depicted without a beard - was criticized by sesina, but the pope liked it and michaelangelo eventually painted sesina as minos (overseer of the underworld) - saint barholimu, michaelangelo depicited as him, holding his own skin - saint blaze, - lots of mayrters holding the things in which she was mayrtrd with - after michaelegelo died, the ‘fig leafs’ were put overtop of the nude people
