describe the role of a Muslim parent

A

It is the responsibility of Muslim parents to bring up their children as Muslims. A Muslim mother has a role in teaching the beliefs and customs of the religion at home, such as learning about what is permitted and forbidden. A Muslim father might take children, especially boys, to a mosque for prayer. Both parents should set a good example and encourage children to pray at the set times of prayer. Parents will send their children to a madrasah for religious instruction and to learn how to read the Qur’an. The Qur’an may be read at home as a family too. According to the teachings of the Qur’an Muslim parents are responsible for the spiritual development of their children.
