To provide for family and make decision within the home and whisper bismillah in their infants ear.
What is the female role in an islamic family?
They must look after the home, raise children and make decisions about the household and to nature and care for you children.
What is the overall role of the parents in an Islamic family?
To teach and practice beliefs on islam
support children in finding a partner
to set a good example
to ensure they attend Madrassa
why is it important for a man to marry?
‘when man marries, he completes half his faith’ - hadith
why is the mothers role so important?
’ heaven is under the feet of the mother’
What is the children role?
Children must not disrespect their parents as it is a sin. and attend madrassa. Children are a blessing from Allah and should not ruin it
why should children respect their parents?
‘Be good to your parents’ - Qur’an
What are the elderlies rights in an Islamic family?
to be able to focus on their faith
to be respected in their wisdom and contribution to Ummah (community)
to be cared for by their children

To shape moral values and characters
to protect each other from sin, loneliness and outside danger

what is a madrassah
a place of learning wishing a mosque
why does islam make a teenage life far from typical?
you cannot drink, salah at school, Ramadan, no dating, no sex before marriage
What is faith school?
a pure Islamic school which can guide the syllabus to suit their religion
what are the positives of a faith school?
they can apply madrassah within school hours so the students don’t have to go after school. there is also less discrimination
what are negatives of faith schools?
Can cause the students to have the mindset of division due to religion in the future and encourage prejudice

how does the public prevent radicalism?
children are allowed to express their views with the exception of extremism
what is du’a?
a prayer outside Salah?
what is a wali?
a guardian
what are the main steps in meeting your spouse?
completing a du’a , family discussions leading to a group environment for the chosen people to meet. a compatible mate is then researched.
What do the couple do before the final agreement of marriage?
the couple pray salat-l-istikhara (prayer of guidance) which will then lead to a practical marriage
