What is an AO1 question?
A question asking for your knowledge and not an opinion
What is an AO2 question?
A question asking for your opinion as well as others and your own knowledge.
What do you need to do in an AO1 question?

Describe
Outline
What do you do in a 1 mark question?
state 1 fact
What do you do in a 2 mark question?
state 2 facts- it is usually a definition question so you need to make a point and develop it.
What do you do in a 3 mark question?
Either: Develop three points (PDPDPD) or have 1 point and develop it twice. this can be an A01 or A02 If it is an A02 it is a one sided argument
What do you do in a 4 mark question?
PDPD - Usually a 1 sided argument
What do you do in a 6 mark AO2 question?
You write a two sided argument Follow these stages: 1) State your opinion 2) Why the religion agrees 3) Why they disagree 4) conclusion
What do you do in a 6 mark AO1 question?
4 PEE paragraphs
stating only facts and quotes- no personal opinion.
e.g. Explain Christian/ Muslims attitude towards…
