This world is material and only temporary and testing. Humans are Khalifas representatives of God on earth and one must not stray from the right path by giving into human desire and weakness. At puberty an account of each person’s good and bad deeds is opened, and this will be used at the Day of Judgment to determine one’s eternal faith.

Muslims follow the Sharia law which is based on the Qur’an and the Sunna (the example of Muhammad)

worldwide community called Umma. No priesthood, no distinction made on race, colour or class.

Sunni and Shia. Sunni represents 90% of Muslims’s and Shia’s the other 10%. In Shia practice, the Imam is much more powerful.

The main festivals are Eid-ul-Fitr (the end of Ramadan) and Eid-ul-Adha (the end of Hajj)

Sacrificing an animal, giving to charity, feasting, exchanging gifts, visiting cemeteries, wearing new clothes and visiting family.
